Fencing
A small group of Year 3/4 children were invited to take part in a fencing workshop and mini competition at Moreton Hall First School.
First the children were shown the equipment and heard about the ways to score points and block. Next they were taken through some blocking and scoring moves by the coaches. They were then ready to put on the fencing kit and have a go at a match against an opponent.
The children learnt a great deal through the morning, scoring more and more points in a match and even winning some of their games. What a great experience!
