As the Head teacher of our small rural primary school in Trefonen village, my vision for our school is to nurture a thriving, inclusive community where every child feels known, valued, cared for and inspired to achieve their full potential.

I am deeply committed to celebrating individuality and  recognising and supporting the diverse needs of all our pupils, ensuring that every child, whatever their starting point or particular challenge, has the opportunity to succeed and flourish.

I am committed to leading with integrity, compassion, and ambition, championing high aspirations and high standards for all, whatever that may look like for each individual child, including celebrating the unique strengths of each child.

I believe great education is a team effort. We are not just a school – we are a family where every child is cared for and every achievement, "aha!" and “wow!” moment is celebrated. Through fostering a school culture of respect, kindness, friendship and belonging, in partnership with families and the wider community, I strive to create a safe, joyful environment where difference is embraced, resilience is built, curiosity is sparked and a lifelong love of learning takes root.
