New age kurling 2024

A team of four Year Six children represented us in an exciting kurling competition. Instead of being played on ice, it is played in the sports hall with little wheels on the kurling stones! Despite not having a lot of practise time before the competition, our team had a great go and developed their skills and tactics throughout the morning.

2023

A team of four pupils represented us in the New Age Kurling competition. They were fantastic! They represented the school so well with superb behaviour and sporting attitude. They played incredibly well and finished 3rd overall.

2021

Congratulations to our Year Six Kurling team who travelled to the Marches on 15th September to compete in the Oswestry area New Age Kurling competition. The played well in their group games and qualified for the trophy competition. At the end of a busy afternoon, with lots of games played, they finished 5th overall. All of the children scored great points for their team and showed great sporting behaviour, encouraging and congratulating each other as they played.
