John Muir Discovery Award

Each Year the Puffins class work towards the John Muir Discovery Award, which involves a great deal of outdoor activity and walking adventures.

All the Year 5 pupils from The Meadows joined Puffins Class and Year 5 Hawks on a walk to Bwyltai Woods to take part in our "Sharing Day". Our pupils had created and delivered their own activities (about nature and conservation) to groups of pupils from The Meadows. I was extremely proud of them, they were incredibly professional and knowledgeable about all the work we have done towards attaining the award. The Meadows pupils and teachers left very impressed and inspired!  Many thanks to the wonderful pupils who took part and to all the governors and parents who have helped support us in our endeavour to attain this prestigious environmental conservation award, for our children.
