Maths Week England 2022
MATHS WEEK ENGLAND 14th - 18th November 2022
This week was packed full of amazing maths and opportunities for all the pupils. There were: workshops/presentations; live webinars; TTRS competitions; videos; maths trails; escape room activities; fantastic Maths Puzzles and challenging Brainteasers throughout the school, as part of Maths Week England.
Live Webinar
On Monday 14th Year 5 and 6 pupils will be took part in a live webinar with the nrich team, to work collaboratively with other children across the country on maths problems Events for Teachers and Students (maths.org)

West Bromwich Building Society
On Tuesday 15th November, Year 6 pupils took part in a presentation/workshop called "Money Go Round", delivered by the educational team, from West Bromwich Building Society. They learned many important life skills which will help them manage their money successfully.
England Rocks Competition
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday - Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
Pupils took part in the exciting Times Tables Rockstars competition at home and at school. Students competed against others across England in answering as many multiplication and division questions correctly as they can. The winning class in our school was the Puffins, with Wrens coming second and then Hawks in third place.
Another great opportunity this week was submitting solutions to the latest "Live problems" on nrich. These can be completed at home or at school and Cambridge University always enjoy seeing which primary schools are submitting solutions.
