This was Mrs Lewis' first sports competition since joining Trefonen and she was very impressed! A team of eight Year 1 and 2 children travelled to The Marches to compete.The children completed two routines, a floor routine and a vault routine. The children all performed brilliantly. Between them, the children won five gold, seven silver and four bronze prizes. Overall, we came fifth in the competition. A great achievement

On Wednesday a team of gymnasts took part in the KS1 gymnastic competition held at the Marches. They collected bronze, silver and gold awards for their performances on the beam and floor. The children had a wonderful morning and represented the school with fairness, respect and great enthusiasm. It was a real pleasure to accompany them to the competition and to watch their pre-competition nerves turn into excitement and confidence.
