2022

National Archey week

Twelve children from Hawks class were lucky enough to have a taster day at Croesoswallt Archery club at The Ironworks, organised by School Games organiser Mollie Croxton. (She is a former Trefonen pupil.) The children had a fantastic go at different aspects of archery: 'Arrows', which is the type we do at school already and - best of all - an opportunity to shoot with a bow and real arrows! It was a great morning and the children all made good progress; they got better at each turn! Bull's eye was hit a few times and everyone's confidence was boosted. All in all, a fantastic morning, and the children were extremely well behaved and were a pleasure to teach, according to the wonderful volunteers.
